As a professional photographer, artist and graphic designer with a love of the natural world, I am fascinated by the close up details found within natural objects that seem to elevate the ordinary to the extraordinary.
Living on the coast in Cornwall I find a constant source of inspiration while beachcombing on the seashore and foraging through woodland and countryside.
Through my macro lens, time and tide-worn pebbles, bleached driftwood, lichen-encrusted twigs, seed pods and decaying leaves are transformed, magnifying each individual characteristic and revealing an exquisite work of natural art.
The wind also plays an important role in my artistic endeavours, using its kinetic energy to create drawings full of unique and unpredictable marks and shapes.
